For US Fashion Brands, Boutiques, Hospitality & DTC Startups

Apparel manufacturing built for the way small US brands actually buy.

From a Gurgaon facility just outside Delhi, we manufacture private-label apparel, corporate uniforms, and hospitality uniforms for US buyers — starting at 200 pieces per style. Sampling, quality control, and export workflow are built around the way first-time US buyers actually place an order.

In short

Vihaan International is set up for US small and mid-size buyers — DTC fashion startups, boutique labels, hospitality groups, and private-label sellers. The MOQ is 200 pieces per style, sampling is shipped to the US, and the export workflow is built around the questions a first-time US importer actually has. Payment terms, DDP shipping, FBA-ready packaging, and NDA coverage are all available — case-by-case where it makes commercial sense.

Who we build for in the US

DTC Fashion Startups

Founders launching a contemporary women's western wear, loungewear, or co-ord set brand on Shopify or marketplace channels. Need a partner that gets fashion sensibility, not just contract sewing.

Boutique Labels

Multi-SKU small fashion houses with limited capital. Need disciplined sampling, predictable lead times, and the option to scale 200 → 2,000 with the same factory.

Boutique Hotels & Wellness Resorts

Single-location hotels, B&Bs, spas, and wellness resorts needing a uniform programme — housekeeping, F&B, spa, front-desk — built in cohesive fabric and finishing.

Restaurant & Café Groups

Small chains needing server, kitchen, and host uniforms produced in fabric weights that hold up to commercial laundering. Including aprons, polos, chef coats.

Private Label & Marketplace Sellers

Sellers building owned brands on Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, or Shopify. Need FBA-ready packaging, UPC barcodes, and consistent SKU quality across drops.

First-Time Importers

Founders who have never imported from India before. Need a partner that handles documentation, customs prep, and walks the team through the export workflow.

A long-term partnership, not a one-off PO

The economics of small-batch apparel manufacturing reward repeat orders. A first 200-piece run is expensive to set up and only earns its margin on the second PO. That changes how we sell. Our pricing, sampling discipline, and communication cadence are all built to make the second order easier than the first.

Low MOQ from 200 pieces

Start at 200 pieces per style — sampling at 2–5 pieces. Scale to 10,000+ per PO as the brand grows. Same facility, same QA team across both ends.

Sampling that respects your runway

Tech-pack review, fit sample, PPS, size set — typical 7–10 day turnaround. Sampling to your US address available; the PPS becomes the contractual reference for bulk.

Quality control as a discipline

5-stage in-line QC with AQL 2.5 final inspection. Defects are caught at the workstation, not at pack-out. Inspection reports issued with every export consignment.

Communication clarity

WhatsApp and email response usually within hours during US-daytime windows. Weekly sync calls in early-IST-morning slots that align with US-evening time.

Timeline transparency

First-order timeline shared upfront: 5–9 weeks brief to delivery, faster on repeats. Slippage is communicated in advance, with revised dates — not after.

Working across the time zones

India (IST) is 9.5–12.5 hours ahead of US time zones. In practice, this means our team is online during US daytime via WhatsApp and email — most messages get a substantive reply within hours, not days. For weekly sync calls, the best slot is typically 7:30–9:30 AM IST, which is 10 PM–midnight ET the previous day, or 7–9 PM PT. US clients running tight launch calendars usually book a recurring slot in this window.

For asynchronous work — sample feedback, PPS sign-off, PO confirmations — email and WhatsApp run on a 24-hour cycle. Buyer briefs sent in US evening typically land in IST morning, get worked through the day, and return by US morning. Most rounds close in one full cycle, not multiple back-and-forths.

US Buyer — FAQs

Yes — a meaningful share of our US clients are small. DTC fashion startups, boutique labels, single-location hotels, café and restaurant groups, and first-time importers all start at our standard 200-piece MOQ per style. We treat first orders as partnerships, not transactions — the goal is the second and third PO, not just the first.

Standard MOQ is 200 pieces per style. Sampling is available at 2–5 pieces per style before any bulk commitment. Some categories with simpler construction can be discussed at lower volumes once we understand the brief.

Wire transfer (TT) is the standard payment method for international orders. For established clients with repeat orders, structured terms are possible. Other payment methods can be discussed case-by-case during quotation depending on order size, buyer profile, and history.

DDP (delivered duty paid) is available case-by-case, primarily for smaller consignments where it makes commercial sense. For larger orders, FOB or CIF is usually more cost-effective for the buyer. We will recommend the right Incoterm during quotation based on your order size and US destination.

Yes. Sample shipping to the US is available — typical transit is 3–5 days via international courier. Sample pricing depends on product category, fabric, and the level of finishing required; we confirm sample cost and shipping cost in the same quotation.

FBA-ready packaging — including polybags, UPC labels, and master cartons prepared to Amazon's requirements — is available on request. We need the specifications upfront (polybag suffocation warning text, UPC sticker placement, carton labeling) so the production line can be set up accordingly.

Yes — NDA and IP-ownership clauses are available on request for serious buyers. Patterns, prints, and brand identity remain exclusively yours and are never shared with another client. We can sign on your template or use our standard NDA, whichever is faster.

India (IST) is 9.5–12.5 hours ahead of US time zones. Our team is reachable during US daytime via WhatsApp and email — we typically respond within hours. For voice calls, we routinely take meetings in early-IST-morning slots that line up with US-evening time. Most US clients run weekly or fortnightly sync calls in this window.

A practical first-order timeline: brief and tech-pack review (1–3 days), sampling (7–10 days), PPS sign-off (3–5 days including courier to the US), bulk production (15–25 days), final inspection and shipping documentation (5–7 days), then transit (5–7 days air or 18–28 days sea, destination-dependent). Total: roughly 5–9 weeks for the first order, faster on repeats.

Build a long-term manufacturing partnership

The first PO is the proof-of-process. The next ten are where the partnership compounds. Start with a 200-piece run — see the discipline for yourself.
